Motcombe Village Fete
Hello Motcombe!
Due to popular demand, 2027 will see the return of a good old‑fashioned village fete — relaxed, fun and full of that classic community spirit we all love.
📅 Date: Afternoon of 22nd May 2027
🌼 Style: A traditional, easy‑going village fete (not on the scale of the brilliant Barney’s & Co events — something simpler and more nostalgic!)
🎶 And don’t worry… it’s not replacing our fantastic Music Festival!
We’d really love to see all our village groups, the churches, the school and local organisations involved and part of the afternoon.
Right now we’re in the early planning stages, and we’d be thrilled to welcome volunteers to join us.
👉 Interest Meeting:
Wednesday 29th July at 6.15pm
(Just before our Hall Management Committee meeting)
If you’d like to help, share ideas, run a stall, or simply be part of bringing the fete back to Motcombe, please come along — everyone is welcome 💛
