We are a small, friendly  informal group and the only prerequisite is you you enjoy singing for fun. No auditions necessary. We welcome new members if space allows.  The cost is £5 payable on the day.  

The Motcombe WI Curlers are a sociable group of Women's Institute members who meet monthly, on variable dates.  'Stones' can be pushed either by hand or from a standing position using a pole, making it a very accessible activity

Motcombe WI - We are a friendly group of women of all ages who meet on the second Wednesday

of each month at 7.30 pm in The Memorial Hall.  We have a varied programme to suit all tastes.

Lady visitors and new members are always welcome.  

Bring along your crochet, knitting, sewing, embroidery etc for an evening of stitching with fellow enthusiasts. No formal teaching but we help each other to grow our stitching skills.

Motcombe gardening club has meetings at Motcombe Village Hall at 19.30 on the 1st Wednesday 11 months of the year.  An ideal place to meet other Motcombe gardeners, new members are most welcome.  There is an annual subscription of £15.

We have 2 shows each year, the Spring Show in April for members only and then the Summer Show on the 1st Saturday in August (open to all).  We have speakers on various subjects during the year, and sometimes we organise a trip to a special garden.  Membership includes a discount at two local garden centres.  Visitors are also welcome, with a donation.

Merry Muddlers is a group of people, who meet in the Village Hall every alternate Monday evening 8pm. - 9.30pm. to have a very informal attempt at country dancing. The group has been in existence for almost 40 yrs. without any discernible improvement in expertise, the main objective being to have an enjoyable fun evening. No experience or partner required. At £1 per session, including tea/ coffee and a biscuit, it's got to be one of the best bargains in the area, so why not come along and give it a try? 

Moviola brings the cinema to the village hall once a month, an opportunity to see recently released films on the big screen enhanced by a high-quality sound system. Tickets cost £5 and are available in the village shop. 

Motcombe Bridge Club is an ACOL club which meets on Friday evenings in the Pavilion commencing at 7.00pm.
