Dylan Squared

Description

In 1962, aspiring folk musician, Robert Zimmerman, moved to New York and became so entranced by the poems of fellow New York incomer, Dylan Thomas, that he changed his name to Bob Dylan.  The rest is history.

Roland Jones, an author, singer and Motcombe resident explored the cultural link between the two artists and put together ‘Dylan Squared’- a celebration of their work and music.  The show, which has been a hit at the Shaftesbury Fringe and at other local venues, now comes to Motcombe.  So enjoy a relaxed evening of song, stories and poetry- and a cash bar.

All proceeds go to Sense International (www.senseinternational.org.uk), a charity helping those with deafblindness around the world.
