COVID-19

Following the relaxation of COVID-19 rules, entertainment is returning to the Hall and we remain cautious.  For the time being we are restricting audiences to a total of 70 people, which allows more room between chairs and rows.

Please note that those organizing performances are volunteers.  Those attending are requested to take away all litter and assist in keeping the hall clean for the next user

Entertainment at Motcombe Village Hall

The Hall benefits from a “state of the art” 7.1. audio visual system in the Hall to provide you with a terrific viewing experience. A large satellite dish on the roof can connect us live with theatres, concert halls, opera houses and other venues all over the world, enabling us to bring the best of world culture to Motcombe in real time. This has all been made possible by generous funding from the European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development, administered by the Northern Dorset Local Action Group.  We are dedicated to rolling out a varied programme of shows, some live and some pre-recorded, using this equipment. You can purchase tickets online for these performances on this site. Demand is often high and many performances sell out, so be sure to book early.

Please note no tickets are issued.  In the booking process, you provide your name and you will receive an email payment receipt, which please bring to the performance.
