Motcombe Memorial Hall & Recreation Ground is a Registered Charity (274868) governed by a Board of Trustees who delegate day to day management to a Management Committee.
The Management Committee is made up of volunteers. It is responsible for the day to day running of the village hall together with the recreation field. To cover the running costs, the Committee gets income mainly from the hiring of the Main Hall and Pavilion. However, to enable the facilities it provides to be updated and improved more income is needed and this is provided by the Committee’s fundraising activities.
The Management Committee meets at the Memorial Hall on the last Wednesday of the month normally at 8:00 pm. The Annual General Meeting is held in April and all Motcombe residents are welcome.
